What is the difference between a mesh ring sling and a mesh wrap?
The VLOKUP Water Ring Sling adjusts through two rings and is worn over one shoulder. The VLOKUP Mesh Baby Wrap is a continuous length of fabric secured with the tying method shown in its instructions.
What are the dimensions and listed weight ranges?
The mesh ring sling measures approximately 2 m × 0.8 m and lists an 8–30 lb baby weight range. The mesh baby wrap measures approximately 5 m × 0.5 m and lists an 8–35 lb baby weight range. Always check the particular product's instructions and fit.
What material are these carriers made from?
The VLOKUP mesh wrap is made from 100% polyester. The mesh ring sling uses polyester mesh fabric and adjustment rings. Review each product page for details.
Can I use a VLOKUP Water Ring Sling or Water Wrap at the pool, beach or in the shower?
Yes. Both VLOKUP water-friendly mesh carriers are intended for pool and beach outings, supervised calm shallow-water wading, and shower use, in addition to everyday babywearing. Keep stable footing and provide hands-on support. Follow the individual product's wearing and tying instructions, check the fit when wet, and keep baby's face visible, nose and mouth clear of fabric and water, and chin away from the chest.
Can I swim, dive or use these carriers as flotation devices?
No. Neither the Water Ring Sling nor the Water Baby Wrap is a life jacket, flotation device or drowning-prevention product. Never swim, dive, use them in deep or moving water, or submerge your baby. Avoid strong currents, slippery surfaces and shower spray directed at baby's face. Maintain close supervision and physical support at all times.
Can a baby sleep in a sling or wrap?
A baby carrier is not a sleep surface. If a baby falls asleep in a sling or carrier, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends moving them to a firm, flat sleep surface on their back as soon as possible. See our safe-sleep guide.
How do I check my baby's position?
Use the fitting instructions for your specific carrier. Keep the baby's face uncovered and visible, the nose and mouth unobstructed, the chin away from the chest, and the body appropriately supported. Check the baby's position frequently. Does a baby mobile include a crib arm?
Our currently listed baby mobile product pages indicate that the mobile arm or holder is not included. Check the relevant baby mobile listing before ordering.
